Tyra Banks @ Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards this past weekend.

Actress/Singer KeKe Palmer Fabulous as always

Jada Pinkett Smith is fabulous but I think she missed the mark on this one. Still gotta give her props. I love each peice she's wearing just not all together.

Rihanna had me untill the socks, which I know are a big trend right now, one that I wont be following. She's fierce as always you gotta give her that. Work it!

Congrats to Monique on Winning a Golden Globe

Her Acceptance Speech:
"First let me say, thank you, God, for this amazing ride that you’re allowing me to go on.
Everybody kept asking me do I know my speech, and I said, ‘No, I don’t know what I’m going to say because I don’t want people to think I just know I done won something,’ so no, I don’t know! But I am shaking when I tell you all I am in the midst of my dream and when I look into the eyes of the man I stood next to at 14 years old and I said to him, ‘One day we’re going to be stars, and he said, ‘You first. And we walked this red carpet together tonight. Sidney, I will love you more than you will ever know, baby.

Lee Daniels, the world gets a chance to see how brilliant you are. You are a brilliant, fearless, amazing director who would not waver, and thank you for trusting me to be Mary Jones in this movie. To Gabby, sister, I am in awe of you. Thank you for letting me play with you.

To the cast and the crew of this movie, thank you all so much. I celebrate this award with all the Preciouses, with all the Marys — I celebrate this award with every person that’s ever been touched. It’s now time to tell. And it’s okay."

This is a huge accomplishment for her, it seems like things are lining up in her life. Her talk show is doing very well, her and hubby seem to be doing well. Go Mo!

Succeed VS. Try Again Little Kim EMA Arrival Getup

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this getup seen on Little Kim on the Red Carpet at MTV's EMA's over the weekend. I love all of the pieces indivdually, but together at an awards show, I'm very torn.It was raining so...I dont know, what do you guys think?  Neverless, I am steadily anticipating the return of KIM.

Succeed VS. Try Again? You be the judge on this one

The Atlanta Awards..I Meant Soul Train Awards Red Carpet

photo from @kandiconnection via twitpic

The RHOA crew took over the red carpet at the Soul Train Awards; they were taped in Atlanta last night. Everyone looked great from what I can see and the tweets from people inside of the show seemed like it was a good show. Shout out to freddyo.com for uploading pics the same night.

Succeed vs. Try Again @ the Emmy's

High prices do not necessarily equal high fashion and we saw a lot of that tonight on the red carpet at the 2009 Emmy Awards. It was definitely refreshing to see so much color on the carpet following all of the black that flooded fashion week and MTV awards red carpets last week. Unfortunately even though there was a lot of color, the dress choices were simply not "It. "Here is a recap of who "Succeeds" vs. who need to "Try Again"

SUCCEED

Kim Kardashian

Kate Walsh

Christina Applegate

Shaun Robinson

TRY AGAIN

Victoria Rowell- I would have liked a healthcare dress better

Shar Jackson- Where do I start?

Nancy O'dell- Maybe for the CMA's

Chandra Wilson Hair & Makeup was cute though

Vyxsin Fiala- Has to be a joke!

VMA Fashions..The Bad & The Ugly

MTV always bring about plethora of characters at there award shows and tonight was no different. The most popular color of the night was black, half of the attendees looked as though they were going to a memorial service or a vampire roundup. (that actually took place during the show) Being that it was NY fashion week this week, I was expecting some hot and original fashions, but to my surprise the stylist and celebrities either took the runway inspiration to far or they didn't take notice at all.

I'm sure you will see all of the fabulous people on some other sites but I want to highlight who needed to "Try Again"

(From top to bottom Singer Adrienne Bailon- Cheetah Girls, DJ Cassidy, Singer/Model- Cassie, Hip Hop artist-Kid Sister and Reggae Artist- Sean Paul)

These were just a few of my picks for worst dressed, to be honest there was to many to post. My biggest dissapointment of the night was Amber Rose and Kanye West- we've already seen her wear a catsuit a number of times I was expecting her to really bring it on the red carpet. Maybe my hopes were up to high- Oh well, she probally won't be on to many more red carpets with Kanye due to his behavior tonight.
